Prettygate is historically linked with Hills as we originally constructed most of the original homes back in the 1960’s. A significant amount of the commercial stock was retained and this is the first part of a planned renovation programme. A number of roads in the area are named after family members; Alan Way, Ambrose Avenue, Hills Crescent.

The site is located approximately 3 miles south of Colchester Town Centre in an established residential neighbourhood.
