General Statement

Introduction

This written statement of General Policy, and the attached details of organisation and arrangements for carrying out that Policy, is made in accordance with Section 2 (3) of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

General Statement

Our Policy is to:-

  • Provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all our Employees.
  • Provide such information, instruction, training and supervision as they need for this purpose.
  • Discharge our responsibility for the health and safety of other people who may be affected by each Company’s activities.
  • Obtain and act on professional Health and Safety advice.
  • The allocation of duties for safety matters and the particular arrangements that we will make to implement the Policy are set out in the following pages.
  • The promotion of Health and Safety is regarded as a joint objective of the Company and its Employees at all levels.  Adequate resources will be made available to ensure the success of this Policy.
  • The Policy will be kept up to date, particularly if the business changes or develops.  To ensure this, the Policy and the way in which it has operated will be reviewed each year.
  • This Policy has the full backing and authority of the Directors.
