Kelvedon Park Phase 1B

Hills Construction were instructed to carry out a major refurbishment and reconstruction for Essex County Fire & Rescue Service at Kelvedon Park. The project included considerable mechanical and electrical packages incorporating the introduction of water source heat pumps to reduce the carbon footprint and energy requirements of the building.

Hills were chosen not only on the basis of price sensitivity, but also because the client had complete confidence in their ability to deliver the project on time and on budget. Work commenced in September 2010 and completed in May 2011.

This is the second phase of work that has been completed at Kelvedon Park with further phases to come in the future.

The Project Administrator, Paul Hounslow of Kilngrove, commented: “After a complicated and very technical design process, Hills were chosen to carry out this multi-million pound contract because of their technical know-how and our confidence in their ability to be able to deliver this project. We have worked with Hills in the past and are very happy to be working with them once again”.
